Bismuth is a brittle metal with a white, silver-pink color, It has poor thermal conductivity
and electrical properties, lower toxicity. Bismuth metal is more naturally diamagnetic,
it is stable to both dry and moist air at ordinary temperatures.
Pure bismuth shows a high absorbtion of gamma rays which makes it useful as a filter or window.
In additon to foils and sheets, Bismuth rod, Bismuth tube are available.
